Our hotel uses Stay For The Planet, LifeGate Impact’s platform to monitor the property’s environmental performance, understand our impacts, and identify opportunities to improve hotel management.
The areas assessed through Stay For The Planet are:
- Energy: electricity and heating sources, fugitive emissions, fuels for the company fleet, energy efficiency of the building and equipment.
- Water: water consumption by supply source, water-saving measures.
- Waste: quantity and type of waste generated, disposal methods, and prevention actions.
- Procurement: sourcing policies and environmental and social selection criteria.
- Practices: environmental and management practices and initiatives, including guest and staff awareness activities, efficiency improvement measures, and waste prevention actions. Relationships with the local area and local stakeholders.
- People: workforce composition, training, welfare, work-life balance, equal opportunities, inclusion, accessibility, and involvement in social and sustainability initiatives.
Our concrete actions:
Energy
More than 99% of the property’s lighting consists of energy-efficient light bulbs.
Tesla charging stations for electric vehicles are available for guests.
All rooms are equipped with a home automation system that enables temperature control and supports more efficient energy consumption management.
Recycle
The property adopts a separate waste collection system, with dedicated bins available in guest rooms and common areas.
Used batteries and printer toner cartridges are disposed of through dedicated collection and disposal channels.
Water
Filtered water dispensed through a Culligan system is available in the breakfast room, reducing the use of single-use bottles.
Executive-branded aluminum water bottles are made available to guests.
Territory
Whenever available, local products and supplies are preferred, helping to promote local businesses and support supply chains that are closer to the property.
Products
The Eco Dahlia courtesy line is available in all rooms and is packaged in PLA material declared biodegradable and compostable by the manufacturer.
In food service areas, metal cutlery and paper-wrapped wooden stirrers are used instead of single-use plastic alternatives.
90% of the room furnishings are made from natural materials, such as hypoallergenic wood that can be recycled at the end of its life cycle, favoring solutions with a lower use of plastic materials.

A certified commitment
Executive Hotel is pleased to announce that it has obtained the Green Key certification, an international eco-label for tourism establishments promoted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

Green Key recognizes establishments that integrate environmental management and sustainability criteria into their operations. Maintaining the certification requires continuous compliance with the scheme requirements, verified through documentation and periodic audits.
The certification process covers several aspects of property management, including the efficient use of resources, waste management, guest and staff awareness, and the progressive improvement of environmental performance.
